Meet the Baker!

¡Hola! I’m Mariana—baker, photographer, and lover of all things sweet. What began as a simple curiosity eventually grew into one of my greatest joys (and my favorite way to show love).

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico until I was 14, when my family moved to the United States. While cooking wasn’t an immediate passion after the move, everything changed after I graduated from college and began living on my own. That’s when I started to miss home deeply—and found myself reconnecting with my roots through baking and cooking. Recreating the flavors I grew up with became a way to feel close to Puerto Rico again, one recipe at a time.

When I’m not covered in flour, you’ll probably find me shooting film photos, exploring new places, or dreaming up my next dessert. Welcome to my little corner of sweetness.
